Secure Life Coverage ("SLC," "we," "us") is an independent life insurance agency owned by Connor Obryan and licensed in South Carolina and Texas. This policy explains what information we collect when you request a quote, including through Facebook or Instagram lead forms, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
When you fill out one of our forms, we collect:
- Contact details: full name, phone number, email address, and state.
- Date of birth, which affects life insurance eligibility and pricing.
- Basic health answers: whether in the past 2 years you have been hospitalized or treated for heart disease, stroke, or cancer; whether you have diabetes; and whether in the last 12 months you have had any major health issues or new diagnoses.
- Your preferred call time (morning, afternoon, or evening).
- Information you share on a call, if you choose to speak with us.
We collect only what we need to give you an accurate quote.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Call you, at the time of day you chose, to discuss life insurance options and give you quotes.
- Match you with insurance carrier products you are likely to qualify for.
- Help you apply for coverage, if you decide to.
- Keep basic records of our contact with you and meet our legal and licensing obligations.
We do not use your health answers for anything other than finding and quoting coverage for you.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With insurance carriers and underwriting partners, as needed to quote, underwrite, or process an application you ask us to pursue.
- With service providers who help us run our business (for example, email, phone, and secure record-keeping tools). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, such as to respond to a subpoena, a regulator, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Phone calls and how to opt out
By submitting a form, you agree to receive a phone call from Secure Life Coverage about life insurance at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can stop calls at any time by telling us "stop calling" on any call, or by contacting us using the details below. We will remove you from our call list promptly.
Information from Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc. collects your answers and passes them to us. We receive and use that data in line with Meta's lead ads terms and this policy. Meta's own handling of your data is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy, which you can find at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed to contact you, provide quotes, service any policy you buy, and meet legal and insurance record-keeping requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or securely store it until required retention periods end.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, such as password-protected accounts and limited access, to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will follow applicable law if a breach occurs.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to ask what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
